1.  MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING

Minutes of the last meeting agreed and accepted.

2.  MATTERS ARISING

All matters dealt with.

3.  COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS FROM PATIENTS

The group were provided with Patient Suggestions/Comments.

Most of the comments were very positive especially those from patients who had recently registered from other local surgeries.

The few negative comments were mainly concerned with the difficulty in booking an appointment and availability of appointments.

Kurtis explained that the demand is great with 12,000 patients served by 4 partners, 2 full time and 2 part time, 2 salaried GP who each work 3 days and PA who does 10 sessions which is equal to 5 days.

During a morning session a doctor sees 15 patients.

It was suggested that this information could be put onto the screen and into the newsletter

Pauline, Operations Manager, has produced new forms with 1-5 faces ranging from Very Happy to Very Sad.

All completed so far are very satisfied.

4.  COMMUNICATION MATTERS

Letter was posted to Mr. Menzies MP on 6th February but there has been no response.

Consideration given to sending an email asking for acknowledgement of receipt of letter.

Ann will contact David Rogers to ascertain if this is an issue for our locality, nationally and what can be done about it.
