Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

In the UK, the NHS routine immunisation (vaccination) schedule protects you against a number of diseases, but does not cover all of the infectious diseases found overseas.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel, please submit a request on PATCHs.

It is important to complete the travel form as early as possible - we currently require at least 6 weeks notice due to appointment availability with our nursing team, and your appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines time to work.

We also provide full travel health advice for our patients especially regarding prevention of malaria infection.

Not all vaccinations required for travel are covered under the NHS. The practice does not provide vaccinations that are not available on the NHS, but will advise you on what vaccines are needed for travel so you can source these from a private clinic.

The practice is no longer a registered Yellow Fever centre.
