Clinical Team

Practice Nurses

Practice Nurses provide a wide range of services including travel health advice and vaccinations, injections, pill checks, health checks, cervical smears and chronic disease management.

Healthcare Assistant

Healthcare Assistants are important members of the team supporting the nursing staff and doctors. Their services include blood samples, blood pressure testing, ECGs, glucose tolerance testing, assisting with minor operations and health checks.

Clinical Pharmacists

Clinical Pharmacists are highly qualified health professionals, who are specialists in medicines and how they work. They work as part of the general practice team to improve value and outcomes from medicines.

This includes providing extra help to manage long-term conditions, advice for those on multiple medicines and better access to health checks. All pharmacists are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Physician Assistants

Our Physician Assistant (PA), is a highly trained healthcare professional who works under the direct supervision of our General Practitioners (GPs) to support the safe and effective delivery of patient care.

Working as part of our GP-led team, the PA contributes to improving access and continuity of care while maintaining high clinical standards. Although the GP retains overall responsibility for each patient, the PA plays a key role in supporting a wide range of clinical duties.

They can: take detailed medical histories from patients, carry out physical examinations, support the diagnosis of a number of different medical conditions, deliver appropriate investigation and treatment plans, manage patients with long term chronic conditions, and provide health promotion and disease prevention advice.

All activities are carried out in close collaboration with a supervising GP to ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality care. When you see our PA, you're receiving care as part of a coordinated and trusted general practice team.
