Repeat Prescriptions
Prescriptions Fees

If your doctor has prescribed some long-term medication then this will be entered on your records as a 'repeat prescription.'

However, you will have a review date entered in your records, as the doctor will need to see you occasionally to review the medication(s) you are taking. When you collect a prescription there will be a tear off side on the right for you to keep, and use when you need to re-order your medications. Please tick the items you need and send or bring it into the surgery. Your local pharmacy may also provide this service for you.

Alternatively, if you wish to order your prescriptions online, in the first instance, you need to come into the practice to register and be issued with a pin number.  This will then enable your repeat medications list on the screen for you to select your items when required.

We regret that we cannot accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone. Please allow 48 hours (2 working days) for your prescription to be processed.

If you are unable to collect your prescription from the surgery or pharmacy, most of the local pharmacies operate a collection and delivery service.

WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM OUR PATIENTS THAT WE HAVE NO BUSINESS CONNECTION WITH THE PHARMACY WITHIN ANSDELL MEDICAL CENTRE, OR ANY OTHER PHARMACY.  IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES REGARDING THE ORDERING OR COLLECTING OF YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT THE INDIVIDUAL PHARMACY DIRECT. Thankyou.
